Some Things to do in Sri Lanka

Climb Adam’s Peak For Sunrise
Wake up with tired eyes at 2am for a hike up to Adam’s Peak for a view above the heavens for sunrise. There are approximately 5500 steps to the summit. The climb not for the faint-hearted and you’ll be sure to have wobbly legs at the end, but the views are like nothing else, it’s well worth the climb!

Hike To World’s End & Back
If you’re the outdoorsy type who loves hikes that reward you with some of the most stunning views you’ll find anywhere in the world, then Sri Lanka is for you. World’s End is one of the best views you’ll see. Get to Horton Plains National Park early on for unobscured views.

Relax On Picturesque Beaches
One thing Sri Lanka is not short of, is stunning, golden sand beaches. You’ll find Sri Lanka’s best beaches on the south and east coast. If you’re looking for secluded beaches away from the crowds, then the east coast is for you, with Kalkudah Beach being up there with the best.

Indulge In Local Cuisine
You will more than likely come away with a love with Sri Lankan cuisine. For starters, the curries are some of the best, but it’s not all curries. Along the coast, you can tuck into fresh seafood. In between the hustle and bustle of Colombo make sure you try some freshly cooked street food, including roti, kottu and more.
